At 48 years of age, Roy Jones Jr. has added the vacant World Boxing Foundation Cruiserweight title to his five division collection of world titles. Jones, now 65-9 with 47 knockouts, Pensacola, Florida, has won major and minor world titles at middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight, cruiserweight and heavyweight.

His opponent, Bobby Gunn, remained on his stool before the start of round 8. To his credit, Gunn displayed seven rounds of offensive enthusiasm, but had no defensive skills to go with his enthusiasm. That spelled doom against Jones, who landed right hand leads and combinations at will and tortured the aging Gunn all night. Gunn falls to 21-7 with 18 knockouts, Hackensack, New Jersey.
